I think that learning mother tongue is important because mother tongue is your own language and when you go to your own country you need to speak your mother tongue when you go to your own country.

You also need to know your mother tongue because you will also need to speak with your parents and relatives because if you don’t know how to speak or write your mother tongue, your relatives will not know what you are talking about because you do not know your mother tongue.

If you don’t know how to write your name that is a problem too. It is a problem because you might get a test in your country and it will be in your mother tongue, you will get all of the questions all incorrect.

If you also have a strong mother tongue language it will be easier to learn other languages because you have already learned your languages in your brain.
