Interviewing Ms. Ishbel’s Gardeners
Today we went to Ms Ishbel’s class and interviewed her KG students about how they planted the plants. I saw that they were really knowledgeable of telling what they did when they are making the bottle garden. I learnt that first we need put the dirt in the plastic water bottle and then water it. She said the sun will help it to grow. She also said the challenges were when they put the dirt it was really heavy for them. She said the easiest thing was to water it. I learnt that we can only water it in the morning or at night, and you can’t water it in the middle of the day because it would get too much hot.

ReplyDeleteThis Afternoon we learned about plants in Ms. Ishbel’s Class and you need to plant with soil and compost. Not with just soil because then it will be too wet , If you do it with only compost then it will be too dry and soggy.
We asked them What inspired you? and they said “It is our unit so we did it.”
What did you plant and they said “ A flower that grows fast.”
Can you teach us about it? “Mix the soil and compost.”
