Taking Photos for perspective

Taking photographs to show our perspective
Today we worked collaboratively to create photo images that showed perspective. These are a few pictures of us taking pictures! Next week we are going to learn how to edit and improve the pictures on PicMonkey. We will then post them on our blog.

  1. Today Mr Matt came to the class to talk to us about perspectives.
He told us that when people are far away from the camera and somebody is close it can look like the big human is holding a tiny person.

So we went outside the classroom and took some photo about perspectives like somebody lay down on the ground far from the camera and somebody stand close and lift their legs so it looks like somebody is going to stand on another person.

I notice that when you do that some parts of the photos are not clear it is blurry but some parts are very clear.

The parts that went well was we had enough people in the group to make a photo and that we went outside so the picture wont be dark or to bright it was normal.

I am going to change by trying to keep my hand or leg still for perspective photos because if i move it , it will look like i am not stepping on him.
Next time i will try to find a good place to take the photo such as backgrounds.

  2. I learned that when take perspective photos it looks like what the photo taker want you to look at. I also learned that when you hold out your hand a bit and another person stands far away from you it looks like somebody is on your hand. We took some perspective pictures. I did standing on somebody hand and falling of the stairs. I also learned that when you take perspective pictures sometimes it doesn't look the way you want it to look.

  3. This is about when this morning we was playing with the iPad and taking photos, we was overlapping things and doing some other illusion. We was learning about perspective and how we influence people by the photograph that we take. My group was taking silly pictures around the tree house. Some people took realistic picture but some people did not.

I learnt that if we overlap things the things at the back looks very small and we can also make illusion out of overlapping, it could look like you are eating things at the back even though it is not touching you.

If I could change something that will be taking a more realistic picture because when we are taking the photo some of them don't look realistic and they know we are acting.

  4. On 2014, November 18,Kelly, Signe and I took some photos with focus and we made some great pictures with funny things in. One even had a shoe for my body - It was about our perspectives in photographs. it was fun, but tiring too. Sometimes we even got into some fights that who is going to model it and who is going to take the photos.it is in the middle, so I'm torn. But most of the times,Kelly took the photos and me and Signe modeled more.

  5. Today we took cool pictures in the iPad as a group with Sonyta and Vorleak. We took pictures like some one standing in the back and someone in the front. The front person made shapes with leaves, toys from the class and made a curved shape in there hand and the person in the back sanded so the person in the back is like standing on top of the thing the front person is holding the person in the back with the thing they are holding. 6. I learned that when you closer to photos and people/friends stand far away the Person is close to the camera put's something close to it like your hand the other Person/friend looks like he/she is standing in your hand. And if you focus some of Things and the others are not focus and it will look blurring and it will only work if The object is to close and is not focused. And the way it works is you can make people stomp on people without hurting them.

And that is what i have learned.

  7. I learn that when you take photo you get closer it big and if you get far away you look small. If you stay far away and someone get close it look like they are holding you,if they stay close and open their mouth it looks like they are eating you and if you hold somethings at the top of them it look like somethings that is big are falling on you.If you get on a stair and do like you lying down and some one is putting their hand at the bottom of the stair it looks like they are catching you at the bottom of the stair.

  8. I was taking perspective pictures. And I was trying to make it look like Estela was standing on top of Wajiha. I learned that I need to press with my thumb on the Ipad so it can look like Estela was actually standing on Wajiha. What I should do better is to make Wajiha closer to the camera in the Ipad. And to make Estela go more far so it looks like she is standing on Wajiha.

  9. Today I was taking pictures with my class. We used the i pads to take pictures. We were in groups of three. I was with Seo Young And Kelly. We put things close to the camera and we put things far from the camera. Once we put a shoe close to the camera and it looked like the shoe was going to step on Seo Young. We also made it look like Seo Young was holding me by making Seo Young stand close to the camera and making me stand far from the camera.
I learned that you can make people look bigger or smaller by making them stand in different places. If you want something to be big you can put it close to the camera and if you want it to be small you can put the thing far away from the camera.
I can improve by putting the thing that will be small more far away. Also I can put the things that need to be dig more close to the camera.

  13. I take a picture and do something funny with it. Tommy lay down and I pretended to step on his head.

I learned that if we stand back and take a picture of someone holding out his hand, it looks like you are holding a head.

Next time, I want to take a picture of a living spider on my hand and I take a picture and a boy is standing back and then it look like the spider is in the face of the boy.

  15. Today Mr. Matt told us how we can take photo that we want as our opinion. He showed many different cool ways. In my group we all took lots of photos. In one photo I pretend that I was a tiny person and my friend was a giant person. It was very cool taking those weird photos. Next time I will try to make a little bit more funny because it was to much weird to look at. I think this is part of our new unit. Wajiha

  16. Today,Mr.Matt came to talk about perspectives. It was kind of fun and Mr Matt showed tricks that are cool.He also told us that if you put things close to the camera or photos. He also tough us that if we put objects that are small but,if we put it close to the camera, For example, you hold a shoe that looks small, but if you put the small shoe near a camera,it looks really big like a size of a classroom.

  17. Today I took photos with my friends and it was not like taking normal photos one of my friends were far away from the camera one person was close to the camera so it was like a big person stepped on a small person and the small person had a face like it was very scarred and another thing i did was put something that was not that small and put it close to the camera so it was like a giant book getting eaten by a person it is very fun but some times it had some mistakes I learned that you can take photos in different ways and make it seem like it is taking normal
    photos

  18. Today we took pictures that had perspective in it. We learnt that perspective in pictures is that it looks like something is happening but it really isn't. We had to take pictures that had perspectives. I and my group Maya and Wajiha took a picture that looked like we were coloring Maya's hair. We did this by putting Maya a little far away from the iPad and then me and Wajiha put a crayon in front of the iPad and the crayon looked so big that it looked like it could color Maya's hair.

Next time, I am going to take a picture where a big person is holding small person.
