vorleak and hyien summative

We made a machine that pushes a ball into a hole. It works by and inclined plane (slide) and also a lever and an inclined plane(dominoes.) The marble goes on the inclined plane and then the marble touches the domino trail and the domino trail slides, and then the trail touches the ball and then the ball goes into the hole. It make work easier by not having to throw or put the ball into the hole. 



















Popping a balloon (Summative Assesment)

This is our summative assessment and the balloon is suppose to blow at the domino and the last the domino hits a marble, the marble goes down the the inclined plane and spins in the screw and when it comes out it hits the levers (domino) and the last domino has a nail and it falls and hit the balloon.

It didn't work because the inclined plane was not straight a balanced because the marble keeps rolling to the domino and when the domino tries to push the marble the marble just goes under the domino and goes no where.

I would change the inclined plane to a thicker one and change the nail to a sharper one because when we tested it it worked but the balloon didn't pop the nail just touched it and it didn't pop.
 

Simple machine invention

We made a simple machine which can pop a balloon. We used a car to pop the balloon. The simple machines were wheel and axle and inclined plane. We used cardboard to make the inclined plane. The car had the wheel and axle. The string was stick to the chair and holding the clay and the clay was holding the pin. The balloon was underneath the chair. We gathered some thousand blocks to hold the balloon in place. The car went down the inclined plane and hit the clay and the pin went to the balloon and did not pop so it failed.
